With a change of venue and format, the 2017 IEC Charity Clay Pigeon Shoot was a great success! An excellent day of shooting and good food was enjoyed by all, with many thanks to West Midlands Shooting Ground for hosting. The generous sponsorship of Clarke Group Construction, JF McKenna, Morspan Construction Ltd, Knights Construction Group, A.C. Jackson Ltd and NFU Mutual (Telford) meant that this year we raised a shoot-record breaking sum of over £4,500 for a very worthy cause, the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. Full photos will be uploaded soon, feel free to share and tag!
Watch the construction of IEC’s first poultry site from beginning to almost completion- 5 months of hard work packed into 5 minutes viewing! End results to follow so keep watching!!
The proceeds from IEC’s annual charity clay shoot have been presented to the Midlands Air Ambulance and a video with highlights from the day is now available to watch on our new IEC Solutions YouTube channel.
The 2016 annual poultry industry charity clay shoot, held by IEC, raised £1,500 for the Midlands Air Ambulance and provided visitors with the unique opportunity to explore the company’s brand new poultry site, prior to opening.
We’re currently looking for new team members to join our Heat Solutions and Fabritec divisions. As both business areas are continuing to go from strength to strength we are recruiting for new biomass boiler engineers and experienced multi-skilled welder/fabricators.
Yet again, the Pig & Poultry Fair on 10th & 11th May proved to be a great success for IEC. Not only did we get to catch up with many existing customers at this super event held at Stoneleigh Park, but we also got to meet some new faces. Much conversation was had about Combined Heat & Power (CHP), explaining it and the numbers, plus the usual levels of interest in biomass heating and our poultry bedding product ‘Softlay’. Thanks to all those who called in to the stand for a drink and cake – it was great to see you!
Charlie Simpson, one of our most loyal Sotflay bedding customers, has become the biggest ever chicken farmer to join Aviagen’s Ross 400 Club, which recognises top performance. With a chick placement of almost 541,500 birds, this is an exceptional achievement.
IEC are continuing to sponsor The Wales and West Poultry Group who are holding their first discussion group meeting of 2016 on Tuesday 9th February.
IEC is pleased to announce we’ll be sponsoring Newport (Salop) RUFC club again this year. In 2016 the minis and Juniors teams will be heading out on tour, and our contribution will go towards making this trip and tour shirts possible. We wish them the best of luck!
