IEC Energy’s Install Team has successfully relocated a 30-ton, pre-owned 2.4MW biomass boiler to a new site in Shropshire, where it will now supply heat for crop drying and space heating.
This project is an excellent example of IEC Energy’s capability to deliver practical, high-value biomass solutions while supporting long-term sustainability goals. By repurposing proven equipment from a previous site and adapting it for a new application, we have given an existing asset a new operational life, reducing waste, lowering embodied carbon, and maximising value for the client.
From planning and logistics through to installation and commissioning, the project demonstrates the specialist technical knowledge within IEC and our ability to apply it in real-world agricultural and industrial settings. Moving and recommissioning equipment of this scale requires precision, experience, and confidence in delivery.
